EU Kids Online seeks to enhance knowledge of European children's use, risk and safety online

Report on classification of countries Children’s experiences of the internet across Europe are examined in terms of online opportunities, incidence of online risk and harm, and types of parental mediation. Countries are divided into four categories:
- Unprotected networkers (AT, HU, LT, SI)
- Protected by restraint (BE, FR, DE, EL, IE, IT, PT, ES, TY, UK)
- Semi-supported risky gamers (BG, CY, CZ, EE, PL, RO)
- Supported risky explorers (NO, FI, SE, DK, NL)
The report includes a portrait of each of the 25 countries included in the EU Kids Online survey. It also includes nationally-specific policy implications based on these findings.
