Have you ever been sad because of a nasty message an Internet friend has sent to you? Have you ever been troubled because a stranger contacted you via the internet? Have you ever been worried about a friend posting weird messages on their profile?

When you are in trouble calling a helpline might help you find a way out. A helpline is a service where people work who are waiting for your call or chat, to provide assistance. You should know that you are not alone with your fears and troubles online and where you could find advice in case of problems. All around Europe there are 30 online safety helplines (EU countries plus Iceland, Norway and Russia) associated in the Insafe network. Helplines are an integral part of the Safer Internet Centres.
