The Polish and German Safer Internet Centres invite professionals working with children and youth to attend the 8th International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online'', which will take place at the Novotel Warsaw Airport Hotel, 1 Sierpnia 1 street, 25-26 September 2014.
The Warsaw conference will bring together approx. 500 representatives from the education sector, NGOs, law enforcement, government and industry. The event will address a wide variety of issues relating to children’s and young people’s safety online, such as privacy in social networking sites, managing online identity, educational strategies and emerging trends online.
The aims of the conference are to raise awareness of the new challenges and opportunities in fighting online threats and to help share best practices across different sectors. Sessions will be led by recognised international experts in the field of child protection. The languages of the conference will be English and Polish. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
