At the end of 2010 the amendment to the German Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors (JMStV) failed. The first-time recognition of two youth protection programmes in February 2012 showed that the Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM) has worked succesfully on the existing legal basis. Nevertheless, there are - especially in the area of ??Internet regulation - some gaps that need to be closed. A new draft of JMStV shall now be submitted to the Prime Minister in autumn 2013.

How it should be continued in the protection of youth in the media, what needs to be improved and what are the most pressing challenges - in the framework of this event there will be an exchange of supervisors, policy and network community.
