Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by Insafe each February to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile internet, especially amongst children and young people across the world. Each year hundreds of events are organised to raise awareness about online safety issues.

SID 2013, which will take place on Tuesday 5 February 2013 and will be the tenth edition of the event. We hope therefore to make it bigger and better than ever before. The theme is Online rights and responsibilities and the slogan is "Connect with respect". More information on the theme and the campaign will be released as SID approaches.
